Studentes deben leer en interpretar y traslar technical textos relatados en sus sujetos matters y en producir básicos technical writings. También puede adquirir básicamente las órdenes en orden a la producción formal y informal de letters, aplicación de letters, e-mail, y specialized reports.

En eventual foco se puede llevar a listening y speaking skills cuando se tienen overcome everyday ubicaciones facilitando la integración into a English-speaking environment.

Contento 1: Grammatical, syntactic and lexical aspects technical register in the field of Computing Engineering:

1. 'S phrases and expresiones and the possessive case

3. Making direct technical translations into Catalán oro Spanish
4. Reading comprehension of technical literature in the field of Engineering

Assessment Methodology:

Homework and classroom exercises will be collected donde all the items of the course according to the following assessment criteria:

1. 20% de final mark: ejercidas en las estructuras, relativas a clauses y sus posibilidades de reducción, participas en –ing and –ed, complejo nominal phrases, hyphenated phrases, and specific vocabulary
2. 20% of the final mark: exercises donde writing skills: formal letters, emails, reportes, summaries, ...
3. 30% of the final mark: ejercicios donde oral skills: listening comprehension, oral presentation, and participation in discusions and debates. Está mandatorio a pasar esta actividad
4. 30% de la finalidad de la marca: se examinan en el caso de que están ejerciendo y labores para demonstrar la adquisición de conocimientos relacionados con los contentos 1, 2, y 3 de los syllabus. En el mínimo número de 4 (de 10) se requiere.

Cuando sea necesario, hay que repetir las pruebas de puntos 1, 2, 3, y 5 de los asesoramiento (see above): 70% de los puntos finales. El remaining 30% corresponde a la actividad 4 above (Oral Skills). En minimum mark of 4 (out of 10) se requiere in the resit exam in order to pass the subject.
