Oratory course

 

Do you get nervous when you know you have to speak in front of an audience? Do you want to be able to communicate efficiently, be original and learn to convince your interlocutor? Do you want to learn how to speak in public and acquire fluency and confidence when articulating a good speech?

If you enjoy debating current affairs with friends, speaking in public, practicing and improving your public speaking skills and looking for the strengths and weaknesses of a speech... This is the activity for you!

The Oratory Course is a place to prepare the student for oratory, debate and ultimately oral expression. We will analyze with videos and practical exercises what needs to be done to carry out an optimal oral expression, successfully communicating what we want to convey.

The workshop will work:

  • HERE: Get to know ourselves, our weaknesses (to work on them) and our strengths.
  • HERE: Know the audience and adapt to it, to reach them with force.
  • WHAT: The content of the speech, its parts and tools to argue.
  • HOW: The importance of non-verbal communication, beyond what we say.

We will carry out multiple practical exercises that will prepare us for a good oral speech in public, it will be proposed to do a HIT SPEECH! end

Objectives
  • Acquire mastery of oral expression and the communicative facility to speak in front of an audience.
  • Develop techniques to create coherent, well-argued, structured and attractive speeches.
  • Generate confidence, respect and self-awareness.

Addressed to: University students with concern for the comprehensive training of the individual. To all those who want to equip themselves with a transversal tool that brings efficiency to any job and area of ​​daily life.

Number of participants: If a minimum group of 6/8 people is not established, the activity will not go ahead.
