The Linnk Workshops program is an initiative of the TecnoCampus university center which includes a wide variety of workshops and talks aimed at high school and CFGS students so that they can delve into the different areas of knowledge proposed in a practical and fun way.
*Only one workshop per group can be held. We will update the dates of the missing workshops soon.
Material tests
Breakage tests of various metals and polymers using a didactic traction machine of 1.500 kg and a professional one of 5.000 kg.

Simulation of a Production System
This program allows you to model discrete event systems, such as a workshop, a production plant, or a supermarket checkout system. It offers the possibility to view the statistical results of the simulation. An animation can also be generated that shows the produced items, people or means of transport moving through the system.

Programming the derivation and integration of functions
After a short introduction to programming, we move on to programming the derivation and integration of functions. The objective is for the student to reinforce the essence of the concept of derivative and integral.

Pneumatics and programmable automata
Study of the characteristics of the different elements of a pneumatic system based on the observation, checking and manipulation of the pneumatic installation and automation using a programmable controller (PLC).

Electric machines and motor control automatisms
Activities such as learning about the operation of different types of electrical machines and verifying the operation of some modern electronic equipment for motor control are carried out.

Automatic control
The concepts of open-loop and closed-loop control, the task of controllers, the specifications of a control system are explained. It explains the use of integration and derivation in control. A PID control is implemented on a real speed control system and a real position control system on a DC electric motor.

3d modeling
Presentation and explanation of the pipeline of creating a 3D environment, from the initial concept to the final render. 3D modeling with 3Ds Max is introduced through a hands-on lab session where the required user interface is explained and part of an environment is modelled. In the final phase of the workshop, the created environment is exported so that the participants have a memory of it.

Mothion Graphics
Mothion Graphics give greater dynamism and appeal to any audiovisual creation. In fact, nowadays they are indispensable to any television product, credit banner titles, infographics and photographs.
In this workshop, using adobe tools (AfterEffects, Premiere and Photoshop) you will see the process of making from scratch, and different techniques and visual styles are experimented with.

Composition of Visual Effects
Introduction to visual effects and audiovisual post-production. Practical exercises will be carried out related to the composition of effects such as, for example, background substitution using chroma. The workshop is designed for students who have never used an editing program or who have basic notions.

Adaptations of the body to exercise: an approach to physiology
Physiological evaluation of the metabolic changes that occur in the body, from the state of rest to exhaustion. A maximum incremental test will be performed running on the treadmill, while analyzing the amount of oxygen that the body metabolizes to produce energy throughout the test, using a gas analyzer. This type of analysis is crucial for determining performance and prescribing training in long-distance sports.

Hands, one of our tools
It is often said that physiotherapists can "see" with their hands, and it is true that they often use them to assess and treat various pathologies. In this workshop, a simple, practical and dynamic proposal will be made to learn to "see" and deal with the hands, as is done in the university degree classes in Physiotherapy.

What is physiotherapy?
In this theoretical and practical workshop, we will explain the essence of physiotherapy, the existing specialties and the professional opportunities it offers. The different fields of action of physiotherapy will be discussed, such as physiotherapy of the locomotor system, geriatric, pediatric, respiratory, neurological, among others. In addition, practical examples of assessment and treatment in each of these specialties will be presented. The aim is to surprise students with the depth of knowledge of physiotherapists, the often little-known professional backgrounds of our profession, and the wide variety of people and pathologies we can help treat.

Evaluation and treatment from the physiotherapy of the vertigo patient
An introduction to the vestibular system will be given from an anatomical and functional perspective. A clinical and instrumental exploratory demonstration will be performed, using videonystagmoscopy glasses, related to positional vertigo, the most prevalent form of vertigo in the general population.

Challenge your body: Physiological adaptations to exercise at altitude
The changes experienced by the organism at altitude will be described. Using a hypoxic camera, these effects will be simulated at different altitudes up to 4.500 meters. Using various technological tools (pulse oximeter, heart rate sensor, lactate photometer, etc.), the acute changes caused by exposure to altitude at a physiological level will be assessed in real time, both at rest and during different modes of exercise exercise (aerobic, strength, etc.).

First aid: the key to "unexpected stories"
In this workshop you will learn how to act in common emergencies. We will work through case studies and reflect on how to act at the level of the general population and how a nurse would do it. We will address situations such as assisting an intoxicated person at a party, dealing with cuts in the kitchen or dealing with hypoglycemia at the gym. The workshop includes functional bandaging techniques, management of bleeding wounds, physical examination and taking vital signs. At the end of the workshop there will be a visit to the Center for Simulation and Innovation in Health (CSIS).

The challenges of sustainable mobility
The course offers the opportunity to explore and address sustainable mobility challenges through design thinking tools applied to the search for solutions. Visit to the Tecnocampus Incubator
Workshop focused on getting to know the TecnoCampus Incubator for newly created companies.
