It is a transversal project of TecnoCampus, promoted in 2016 from the Department of Health that aims to promote the overall health of the university community through the design and evaluation of strategies that promote healthy habits within the university community (students and working staff).
The initiatives are based on intersectorality, participation, equity, and a holistic vision of health in the proposed strategies. From 2019 the Sustainable perspective was added to the project A Healthy Campus.
The project is part of the ranks of health-promoting universities and joins the Healthy Universities Network of Catalonia (US.CAT).
Until final approval, CSS continues to work following the structure and lines of previous plans, which have served as a guide for the development of actions within the university community.
During the course 2024-2025, the project worked on a transition period between the previous plan (2017-2022) and the new one, maintaining the six strategic lines which have served as a guide for the development of their actions.
This new plan consolidates the integration of the sustainability I la equality perspective as transversal axes of all project actions, as well as the evaluation based on scientific evidence (evidence-based interventions).
