Campus Culture

The University Community Care Unit (UACU) coordinates institutional cultural and leisure activities. It provides support and advice to the university community to organise exhibitions, conferences and events of a cultural, recreational or festive nature. It also brings in external cultural or leisure requests and proposals.

In addition, it has collaboration agreements with the main institutions of the city in order to promote access to and participation in the active cultural on offer in the region (musical, theatrical activity, museums, cinema, art, and so on).

If you are interested in participating in any of the activities, creating a new group or receiving information, contact the UACU.

Colla Castellera dels Passerells (Human Towers group)

Els Passerells del Tecnocampus is the university human tower group of the TecnoCampus of Mataró (TCM), founded in 2011 and a member of the Coordinator of Human Tower Groups of Catalonia.

    SCIENCE-FICTION NARRATIVE AWARD, MANUEL DE PEDROLO, CITY OF MATARÓ annual science fiction short novel competition written in Catalan, with a financial endowment of €3.000.

    When: Verdict before October 27, 2023

    Rules of the contest here. 

    MICRO THEATRE COMPETITION annual competition of short plays with a maximum duration of 15 minutes. Plays will be selected to be performed in small spaces in the city and the verdict will be by popular vote of the spectators.

  • Experience Mataró

    Mataró has a very rich heritage, and together with its thriving museum and artistic activity, there are some interesting visits and guided tours you can do to get to know the city, its history, architecture, its connection with the sea, museums, nature, historic memory, archeology, etc. Throughout the year many visits are organised, either in groups or at your leisure, to discover unique aspects of the heritage of our city.

  • Exhibitions at the TecnoCampus

    At TecnoCampus we have different spaces where you can exhibit ART. We give you the opportunity to present your exhibition proposal.

    If you are interested in exhibiting some materials you can make your own proposal by sending an email to vidauniversitaria@tecnocampus.cat  requesting this by selecting CULTURE.

    We will ask you as a condition that all the exhibition proposals must be accompanied by an introductory text that contextualizes the works (thematic, technical, intentionality, and so on).
