We are Hackathon 2022 

 

The SOM Hackathon is a challenge, a creative and training event in which, during an intense weekend, you will live an entrepreneurial experience working with multidisciplinary teams. 

On April 1, 2 and 3, the 6th edition of the somHackathon was held at the TecnoCampus. An annual event organized by TecnoCampus, the City Council and somMobilitat that invites high school, high school, university and training program programmers for a weekend to solve a different challenge every year. 

This year's edition revolves around the challenges highlighted by the circular economy. It consisted of building transformative technological solutions that help migrate towards a model of sustainable growth over time, promote the optimization of resources, reduce the consumption of raw materials and recover waste. 

This hackathon is open to students from all over Catalonia and offers a total amount of 3000 euros in prizes for the winning participants.

The TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme, the Mataró City Council and the Som Mobilitat cooperative are organizing, on 16, 17 and 18 April, the fifth edition of the “Som Hackathon”, this time focusing on the construction of technological solutions for to local and responsible consumption. In this edition, the companies Everis, Intowin del parc and the FemProcomuns cooperative act as sponsors. The initiative, which has the support of the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​is aimed at university and secondary school students.

 

We are Hackathon 2020

 

The City Council, the TecnoCampus and the cooperative Som Mobilitat are organizing a new edition - the fourth - of the “Som Hackathon”, Focused on this occasion in the construction of transformative technological solutions that guarantee an active and healthy aging. In this edition, three park companies (Everis, Intowin and Bytemaster), Adevinta (owner of portals such as Fotocasa, Infojobs, Habitaclia or cars, net) and Mútua General de Catalunya act as sponsors.

A PLATFORM TO OCCUPY PUBLIC SPACE WITH CULTURAL ACTIVITIES PROPOSED BY CITIZENSHIP WINS SOM HACKATHON 2019

The TecnoCampus has held a "hackathon" on the weekend of February 8 to 10 focused on how to manage public space in a more lively and sustainable way. The award for the best idea developed by university students has been for a platform that promotes the occupation of public space with cultural events proposed by the public.

 

 

 

University Awards

The team formed by Bernat Torres, Bruno Nevado, Pere Coller, Pol Mesegué and Robert Gracia won 2.000 euros, to be distributed among the members of the team, and access to the TecnoCampus pre-incubator to continue developing the project.

 

Baccalaureate / CFGS Award

As for the baccalaureate award and training cycles, the winners were Eduard Serra, Guillem Soler, Jordi Joan Bautista, Sergi Perelló and Sheng Juny Ye, students of the Escola Pia Santa Anna, who received 1.000 euros to distribute among the team members. The group was selected to create a platform that allows the exchange of knowledge between citizens of the same city regarding the activities that take place in public spaces.

 

The third edition of the Som Hackathon brought together a total of 51 university, high school and graduate students and had the collaboration of 23 mentors from different fields, who supported the teams throughout the process. The Mayor of Mataró and President of the TecnoCampus, David Bote, emphasized in his closing speech that the Som Hackathon is an exemplary initiative of collaboration to face collective challenges. In fact, it is an activity that is part of the commitment to the quadruple propeller model, which encourages the joint work of companies, institutions, academics and citizens.

The Som Hackathon is an initiative promoted jointly with Mataró City Council and the cooperative We are Mobility.
