PRE-ASSIGNMENT OF PLACES

1. Who can opt for international mobility?

All students enrolled in Tecnocampus who meet the requirements:

a) Be enrolled in the Tecnocampus during the 2024 academic year in one of the degrees.

b) Have a minimum of 60 ECTS passed.  

c) For the Erasmus + program: having the nationality of one of the participating States within the program or, in the case of having it from third countries, proving that you are in possession of a valid permit to reside in Spain for the period of completion of the mobility.

d) Accredit the knowledge of the language of teaching at the destination university to ensure that the stay will be profitable, according to the level established by the requirements of each program and the place in question.

Language accreditation 
Only official certificates in accordance with the AGAUR (University and Research Grants Management Agency) table will be accepted for the MOBINT call, including the UPF language proficiency certification test (PCCL).

2. When can I apply for international mobility? 

The calls are open annually. Check the specific dates on the Tecnocampus website or through official channels.

 
3. What requirements must I meet to apply for a position? 

You must have a good academic record, meet the minimum language level required by the destination universities and submit the application within the established deadline. 

 

4. How can I find out which universities are available? 

You will find the updated list of agreements and universities available on the Tecnocampus website in the Tecnocampus worldwide section.

ASSIGNMENT OF PLACES

6. How are places assigned?

Places are distributed according to your academic record, language level and your preferences indicated in the application.

7. When will I know if I have been assigned a place?

You will receive an official notification by email with the results of the assignment on the date indicated in the call.

8. What happens if I don't get my first choice?

If you do not get your first choice, you will be considered for the next choices you have indicated.

9. Can I resign from the assigned place?

Yes, but you must immediately notify the International Relations office, as this may affect other students who are on the waiting list.

MANAGEMENT BEFORE MOBILITY

10. What steps do I need to take before leaving?
  • Formalize your acceptance at the destination university.
  • Prepare the required documents (Learning Agreement, insurance, visa, etc.).
  • Hold a mandatory briefing before leaving.
11. What is the Learning Agreement and how do I complete it?

The Learning Agreement is a document that details the subjects you will take at your destination university and the subsequent recognition at Tecnocampus. Your academic tutor will help you complete it.

12. Do I need insurance?

Yes, it is mandatory to have medical and civil liability insurance that covers the duration of your stay abroad.

13. Do I need to apply for a visa?

It depends on the destination country and your nationality. If the country requires a visa, you will need to contact the corresponding embassy or consulate to arrange it.

14. Are there scholarships available for mobility?

Yes, you can apply for grants such as Erasmus+, MOBINT Scholarships or other available grants. Check the terms and conditions of each grant to see if you meet the requirements.

DURING MOBILITY

15. What happens if I want to change a subject?

Any changes to the Learning Agreement must be approved by your academic tutor and the host university. Remember that you have a deadline to make changes.

16. Who should I contact if I have problems during my stay?

In case of academic or personal problems, you can contact the International Relations office of the Tecnocampus or the mobility office of your host university.

17. How can I justify absences due to illness or other reasons?

You will need to provide official documentation (such as a medical certificate) and notify both Tecnocampus and your destination university.

18. Are there activities or events for international students?

Yes, many universities organize cultural, social and academic activities for international students. Participating in these is a good way to adapt and meet people.

POST-MOBILITY

19. What should I do when I return to Tecnocampus?
  • Present the residence certificate that certifies the dates of your mobility.
  • Deliver the transcript of records (certificate of grades) issued by the destination university.
  • Complete the program satisfaction and evaluation surveys.
20. How are the subjects I have studied abroad recognized?

Once your transcript of records has been validated and verified that it matches the Learning Agreement, the subjects will be recognized in your academic record.

21. What happens if I fail a subject abroad?

Recognition will depend on the criteria of your academic tutor and the conditions previously agreed upon in the Learning Agreement.

22. Can I repeat the international mobility experience?

It depends on the program. In many cases you can participate in more than one mobility during your studies, as long as you meet the requirements.

23. What documents should I keep after mobility?

Keep copies of the Learning Agreement, certificate of stay, transcript of records and other relevant documents in case you need them in the future.
