The aim of this double degree is to train tourism professionals with extensive knowledge in business administration and management, versatile and with a complete mastery of new technologies. From a sustainable perspective, we need to be able to innovate in strategy and operations in the context of the new economy.
In short, a professional capable of contributing to the development of the knowledge society, where the key to competitiveness is innovation.
The subjects within the subject of "Foreign Language" are organized by levels of knowledge (languages in the ESCSET).

Admission profile
Apart from the official qualifications which are required, having the following traits is recommended:
- Own language skills and writing and expression skills
- Have a certain level in at least one foreign language
- Ability for personal relationships
- Interest in the environment and sensitivity to the environment
- Command and leadership skills.
- Organization and responsibility.
- Ability to give instructions.
According to the AQU-Catalunya survey carried out among the graduates of the year 2011, the quality of employment of Tourism graduates at the TecnoCampus (salaries, stability of the contract, functions developed, jobs at university level, functions of management and salary) is higher than the overall figure for university graduates in Catalonia in the same studies.
The students of the double degree in Tourism and Business Administration are qualified to work in any area of thebusiness administration, as well as specifically for the entrepreneurship:

Tourism and Leisure Management Skills
- Interpret the principles of tourism in terms of its spatial, social, cultural, political, labor and economic dimension and identify the types of tourist spaces and destinations and the main tourist agents that operate in them, both public and private.
- Analyze the impacts generated by tourism in its economic, social and environmental aspects and provide innovative solutions
- Analyze the main tourist political-administrative structures and interpret the legal framework that regulates tourist activities
- Turn an “empirical” problem into a research project and draw conclusions.
- Apply a strong customer service orientation and handle communication techniques
- Evaluate the tourist potentials and the prospective analysis of their exploitation through innovative management models
- Analyze, synthesize and critically summarize the economic-patrimonial information of the tourist organizations.

Reception sessions
A few days before the start of the course, sessions are organised to give a warm benvinguda per als estudiants again access. These days are useful to know the coordinator of the degree, the curriculum, the campus services (Academic Management, Library, UACU, Professional Careers and International Relations) and to make a tour of the facilities with the in order to get to know the different spaces where they will study.

Discounts on the price of tuitionThe TecnoCampus has an extensive program of scholarships and specific financial aid in the budget of the TecnoCampus Foundation with contributions from the Foundation itself, UPF and other private entities.
If you meet the academic and / or financial requirements, you can obtain a scholarship for the total or partial amount of tuition for undergraduate studies.

Outstanding scholarships:
- TecnoCampus Scholarships, with economic and academic criteria, which offer different renewable grants throughout the studies and which are resolved before the end of the pre-registration period in June.
- General grants from the Ministry. TecnoCampus degree students can apply for grants from the Ministry of Education to obtain different financial aid based on the academic and financial criteria set out in the call.
- Grants for university students from affiliated centers. The aim of these grants is to partially compensate the student for the costs of university registration for official undergraduate studies.
