You will get two degrees, with a job placement for 90% of our graduate students.
The studies include all the basic and compulsory subjects of the two degrees, two specific optional subjects of each degree, optional cross-cutting subjects and the end-of-course project of each of the two. All technical subjects include practical classes. Approximately one third of the ECTS are taken in small groups in the laboratories of the ESUPT.
Goals
The goals are defined from the aims of the two degrees that make it up:
Objectives of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial and Automated Electronics
To train students to design, direct and coordinate activities related to automation and industrial robotics, electronic control systems, instrumentation and analog, digital and power electronics. They will also be able to design and manage industrial facilities, automatic machines and work on implementation and maintenance of equipment and industrial facilities, encouraging entrepreneurship and adaptation to different work environments.
Objectives of the Degree in Mechanical Engineering
To train students to design, direct and coordinate activities related to the design of machines and industrial production systems; the use of CAD, CAM and CAE tools; the design and construction of industrial facilities; the criteria for the selection of materials; the design and construction of industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems, and fluid engineering. The activities encourage an entrepreneurial spirit and adaptation to different work environments.

Professional skills
Through the simultaneity of the two studies, you will achieve the specific competencies of the engineer in industrial and automatic electronics and the engineer in mechanics.

Internship agreements in companies
The proximity of the TecnoCampus with the business fabric allows to offer to the students practices that consolidate the knowledges in the real surroundings. More than 700 students do internships each year in more than 1.500 partner companies.
The Job Bank facilitates your integration into the world of work. It is an instrument to put into practice what you have learned, whether with an internship or employment contract.

Internationalization. International studies and practices
Study and internship agreements in different countries around the world. In our commitment to internationalization, we have agreements with 105 universities in 34 countries so that you can live the experience of studying or doing internships abroad.

Mechatronics
1- Mechatronics: Integration of electronics technologies in the design of a mechanical component or system.
2- Mechanical technology: Intensification in design of machines and mechanisms.

Job placement
You will get two degrees, with a job placement for 90% of our graduate students.
Admission profile
These studies are suitable for students who have demonstrated in previous studies that they have been given access (Baccalaureate, Vocational Training ...), a good ability of mathematical reasoning, as well as abstraction and problem solving. It is also recommended that they have facility for spatial conceptualization, the use of computer tools, and sufficient knowledge of English.
The student who wants to study the simultaneous studies of the degree in engineering in industrial and automatic electronics and the degree in mechanical engineering, must start accessing either of the two degrees. Once you have passed 30 ECTS of the degree of origin, you must apply to join the second degree by transferring the file. From the third year onwards, the subject itinerary indicated in the document of simultaneous studies will be followed. This itinerary is configured with subjects of both degrees.
Students who want to pursue this simultaneity of study must have interest and enthusiasm for the world of electronics, automation, industrial control, mechanics and its many technological and industrial applications.
Development, implementation and maintenance of control and automation systems, industrial electronic systems, robotic systems and industrial facilities. Analysis, design and testing of machines, motors and mechanical and mechatronic systems. Development of projects and calculations of structures, industrial constructions and manufacturing techniques. Production organization. Integration in production and service companies, in areas such as maintenance, design, production, automation and consulting.
Skills
CB.1. That students have demonstrated that they have and understand knowledge in an area of study that is based on general secondary education and is usually at a level that, while supported by advanced textbooks, includes also some aspects that involve knowledge coming from the vanguard of his field of study.
CB.2. That the students know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional way and have the skills that are demonstrated through the elaboration and defense of arguments and the resolution of problems within their area of study.
CB.3. That students have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (usually within their area of study) to make judgments that include reflection on relevant social, scientific, or ethical issues.
CB.4. That students can convey information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialized and non-specialized audiences.
CB.5. That the students have developed those learning skills necessary to undertake further studies with a high degree of autonomy.
The tutorial action is understood as a teaching activity of the teacher towards the student, during their stay at the Tecnocampus. It has an orienting and formative nature, with the aim of guiding, advising and supporting the student in their process of academic and professional training. It is an activity aimed at all students. The use of tutorials is optional for students throughout their university studies.
Goals
The purpose of the tutorials is to:
- Welcome the new student.
- Offer student representation in the class group and in the dynamics of the institution, encouraging their participation.
- Guide, advise and support the student in monitoring their academic process.
- Facilitate the relationship between teachers and students with specific learning needs.
- Offer the student a figure of academic reference within the Tecnocampus.
Characteristics of tutoring
- All ESUPT students are assigned a tutor from their first day at the university. Each degree taught at the School is assigned a teacher who is the tutor of all students in the degree.
- The tutorial process covers all the academic years in which the student is enrolled.
- Tutorials are developed individually, in groups at class level, as well as in groups at the level of delegates. Individual attention may be requested by the tutor or by the student. Regular format is face to face, but it may also take place virtually.
- In the first year, the tutoring is aimed at facilitating the student's integration into the School, detecting cases of low academic performance, cases of special educational needs and others that may be affected by the permanence and progression regime.
- In the following courses, tutoring is aimed at general academic advice, to guide the student in case of low performance and to advise him in the definition of his academic itinerary.
