What is a Hackathon?

The Hackathon is a creative and training event in which, during an intense weekend, you will live an entrepreneurial experience working with multidisciplinary teams to propose solutions to a challenge posed by the organizers.

The 4th edition of the Hackathon will take place on April 5th and 8th. An annual event organized by TecnoCampus with the collaboration of Aigües de Mataró and MICA which invites students, during a weekend, to solve a different challenge each year.

Divendres April 4 18.00:21.00 PM - XNUMX:XNUMX PM (followed by dinner and a space set up for sleeping)

Saturday 5 April 8.00:20.00 a.m. - XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. (includes breakfast, lunch and snack)

TecnoCampus Congress Center (Foyer), TCM2 Building.

 

Profile of the participants

All students who have formalized their enrollment in the 2024-2025 academic year can participate in the event as:

- Higher education student  

- Student in a middle-level training cycle  

- High school student 

- TecnoCampus student 

All participants must be over 16 years old on the day of the start of the Hackathon.
 

Equipment

The organization will create teams of a maximum of 5 participants, they will be heterogeneous teams with students from different levels and fields. If you want, you can indicate a teammate, but predefined teams are not accepted.

“We are committed to responsible use of water”

 

Design a technological solution that empowers citizens to understand and reduce water consumption, encouraging responsible consumption and promoting a culture of awareness and co-responsibility.

Awards

*It is an essential requirement to receive the prize to attend both days of the Hackathon.

Any student who has formalized enrollment in the 2024-2025 academic year can participate in the event as:

The registration period will begin on Monday, March 17, and will last until March 31.

 

Don't worry! Our team will accompany you during the Hackathon, and there will also be food and drinks. Bring your own bag! This is a learning experience and, above all, an opportunity to have fun.

You can create a website, a mobile application, software..., whatever tools you have at your disposal. Projects will be evaluated according to creativity, technical difficulty, and utility by a group of experts.

Laptops, chargers, mobile phones..., anything you consider useful for developing the project. Remember that if you stay overnight you can bring whatever you need, especially your sleeping bag.
