In the Practicum of the teachings of the TecnoCampus School of Health Sciences, the student has the opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained during the theoretical learning and also the opportunity to expand this knowledge with the development of the work. within institutions with internship agreements with the ESCT; in this way the student complements his / her training in a real environment under the tutelage of a qualified professional.

The external internships of the Degree in Nursing of the School of Health Sciences have an important and essential weight in the teaching load, with a total of 80 ECTS. Excellence without practice is not easy to achieve, which is why external internships are carried out in the leading health institutions in the Maresme, Barcelonès and Vallès Oriental areas. Each of them offers different degrees of specialization and has peculiarities that allow the student to know different areas of knowledge related to the practice of care, and also areas where nursing plays an autonomous role, such as management. and research. 

 

In addition, in the last academic year, the student is offered the opportunity to do the internship in itinerary format and according to their concerns and interests. These itineraries allow the patient to be followed in their pathological process and in all its complexity, from health to disease. They treat both individuals and groups, in all dimensions and approaches to care.

 

Highlights some of the institutions where students carry out these internships: Institut Català de Salut (ICS), Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (HGTiP), Consorci Sanitari del Maresme (CSdM), Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO), Badalona Serveis Assistencials (BSA), Hospital General de Granollers (FPHAG), Fundació Sanitària Mollet (FSM), Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva (CSMS), Hospital Universitari Clínic de Barcelona, ​​Hospital HM Nens, Fundació Hospital de l'Esperit Sant, etc.

Regarding the Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFE), the ESCST presents an agreement with different centers, encompassing the 5 areas described in the white paper of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (AQU) so that the student can develop professionally in that area that is of interest to him.

 

We can quote some of the centers with which it has an agreement: Blaumar, Center de Natació Mataró, Club Basquet Badalona (La Penya), Consell Català de l'Esport (Blume), DIR Club Fitness, FEDCAS Submarinisme, Federació Catalana de Bàsquet, Federación Española de Tenis, Futbol Club Barcelona (FCB), Girona FC, IES Ironman Spain (Barcelona), Laia l'Arquera (Mataró), RCD Espanyol, etc.

The external practices of the degree in Physiotherapy of the ESCST, are divided into 5 subjects: Practicum I in the second year, Practicum II and III in the third year, and Practicum IV and V in the fourth year adding a total of 40 ECTS. In these supervised external internships, students rotate through different care centers (mutual societies, nursing homes, primary care centers, health centers, hospitals, private specialized physiotherapy centers (pediatrics, neurology, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, urogynecology, hippotherapy)). , sports ....) sports clubs and special education schools We have agreements with different leading institutions in the Maresme area, Girona, Barcelonès, Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, Baix Llobregat and even with institutions outside Catalonia.

Regarding the Double degree in Physiotherapy-CAFE students do their internships in the same centers of the Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and the Degree in Physiotherapy respectively.
