The studies include all the basic and compulsory subjects of the two grades and the final grade work of each of the degrees. All technical subjects incorporate practices, approximately one third of the ECTS are taken in small group in the laboratories of the School.


The objectives are defined based on the objectives of the two grades that comprise it:

Objectives of the Degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering

Train students to design, direct and coordinate activities related to industrial automation and robotics, electronic control systems, instrumentation and analog, digital and power electronics. Also, you can design and manage industrial installations, automatic machines and work on tasks of implementation and maintenance of industrial equipment and facilities, encouraging entrepreneurship and adaptation to different working environments.

Objectives of the Degree in Computer Engineering Management and Information Systems

To enable students to conceive, develop, deploy, market and maintain computer systems, using engineering principles and methodologies and making informed decisions regarding: architecture, hardware and software platforms, networks and communications, quality and safety levels , Adaptation to legislation, accessibility, ergonomics and usability. Manage and direct projects related to information technologies.

Admission profile

These studies are suitable for students who have demonstrated a good ability in mathematical reasoning as well as in abstraction and problem solving in previous studies that have given them access (Bachiller, Ciclo Formativos ...). It is also advisable to have ease of spatial conceptualization, the use of computer tools and sufficient knowledge of English.

The student who wants to attend the simultaneous studies of the degree in engineering in industrial and automatic electronics and the Degree in Computer Engineering Management and Information Systems, must begin by accessing the degree in Engineering in Industrial and Automatic Electronics.

At the end of the first course, being able to validate 30 ECTS of the Degree in Computer Engineering Management and Information Systems, the student must apply to join this second degree by transfer of file. From the second year will follow the itinerary of subjects indicated in the document of the simultaneity of studies. This itinerary is configured with subjects from both grades.

Students who wish to study this simultaneity must have interest and enthusiasm for the world of electronics, automation, industrial control, computer science, communications and the application of ICT in industrial processes.

Professional outings

Development, implementation and maintenance of control and automation systems, industrial electronic systems, robotic systems and industrial installations. Integration in production and service companies, in areas such as maintenance, design, production, automation and consulting, IT management, computer projects and data programming centers; Technical systems, databases, networks and communications; technical consultancy; Computer audit; Artificial intelligence and new technologies; Design, optimization of methods and means of communication with the computer and users.

Ability to maintain, automate and design devices and systems through the integration of knowledge and technologies of electronic, automated and computer systems. Ability to analyze and solve problems with initiative, critical reasoning, transmitting knowledge and skills, working as a team and in an international context, and undertaking management and management tasks in the company. Analyze, design, create and maintain information systems in diverse environments, selecting the most appropriate technological solutions.
