The Open Day, which we organized this year on Saturday, April 25, was a unique event, designed for future students to get to know the TecnoCampus facilities firsthand, with the help of students and professors from the campus. In addition, a wide range of information sessions were offered in which attendees were able to learn about each of the 20 degrees and double degrees with the Pompeu Fabra University seal that can be studied at the center.
In the information sessions, the degree coordinators gave a presentation of each degree. Once the theoretical part was finished, face-to-face visits were carried out in groups to get to know the teaching spaces and equipped facilities.
Visitors were able to take advantage of the day at various times to delve deeper into all the degrees that interested them, with sessions held at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 16:00 p.m. and 17:30 p.m. Many of the future students came accompanied by family and friends, thus completing a very profitable orientation day.
Degree information sessions
Attendees were able to sign up for 45-50 minute information sessions exclusive to each grade level, led by their coordinator.
In these sessions, the coordinator presented key aspects such as the curriculum, the characteristic features of the degree or double degree and professional opportunities. All of this was supported by a student of the degree, who contributed his personal experience of what it means, on a day-to-day basis, to study these studies at TecnoCampus.
Intervention of a student of the degree
We explained to you firsthand the strengths of studying at TecnoCampus, in a unique environment where we promote internationalization, entrepreneurship and connection with the professional world.
Question time
Each session had its turn for questions, where doubts and interesting topics could be asked.
For those who wanted to go further and find out about procedures, scholarships or financing, the day included information sessions from the team Academic management.
Campus tour
L'equip del TecnoCampus and students from the various grades showed their main teaching spaces i every corner of a unique university campus facing the sea.
The visits were carried out without the usual student activity in the classrooms, which allowed attendees to visit in more detail both the general facilities and those specific to each grade.
