Dr. Eloi Serrano (Perfil LinkedIn). Director of the Social Economy Chair Tecnocampus - Pompeu Fabra University and accredited professor of economics at the same university. PhD in Applied Economics from the UIB (2024) and PhD in Economic History from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2012) won the Ernest Lluch Foundation Research Award (2008) for a work on Spanish investments in Latin America. He has published numerous works in the form of books, book chapters and articles in scientific journals in areas related to the Social Economy and the internationalization of the company. In 2010 he was a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2010). He was Principal Researcher of the Pasqual Maragall Legacy Program of the Catalunya Europa Foundation (2012-2015). He is a researcher associated with CIDOB.

Dr. Ignacio Bretos (Perfil Linkedin). Contracted professor Doctor of the Department of Business Management and Organization of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zaragoza. Researcher of the GESES-University of Zaragoza research group. His lines of research focus on cooperatives, corporate responsibility and business management. He has collaborated in more than thirty publications between articles, books and book chapters.
Dr. Lluís Carreras Roig (Perfil LinkedIn). Doctor in Economics (2007) (URV) with a thesis entitled "The non-financial business sub-sector of the Social Economy. The taxation of cooperative societies, labor societies and agrarian transformation societies". He has given training on economic, fiscal and accounting aspects of Cooperatives, Foundations and Associations to various entities: ACCID, College of Economists of Catalonia, Professional Association of Tax Technicians of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, Social Economics Chair (CESCO) of the University of La Llacuna, Professional Association of Accounting Technicians of Spain (AECE). He has been coordinator of the economic, accounting and fiscal module of the course "Specialization in Law and Management of Cooperatives and other entities of the Social Economy". Faculty of Legal Sciences. URV. 2019-2021 and coordinator of the Studies and Projects Service of the Roca i Galès Foundation (2017-2022).
Rafael Chaves placeholder image (Perfil LinkedIn). Accredited Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia. He is Director of the official Doctoral Program in Social Economy at the University of Valencia and has been Director of the Institute for Research in Social and Cooperative Economy at the same University for 10 years. He is also President of the Scientific Commission on the Social and Cooperative Economy of CIRIEC International and editor of the scientific journal of economics Ciriec-España. His main lines of research are Economic Policy, Social and Cooperative Economy as well as Social and Labor Policies. He has led national and international research projects, having published in international publishers such as Peterlang and De Boeck, as well as articles in scientific journals. Two of his latest studies have been "The Social Economy in the European Union", co-directed with prof. Jose Luis Montsó, and financed by the European Economic and Social Committee, and "The emergence of social economy in public policy. An international perspective", co-directed with prof. Danièle Demoustier and published by Peterlang publishing house. He was one of the 5 experts appointed by the Government of Spain for the preparation of a proposal for a Law for the promotion of the social economy.
Dr. Millán Díaz-Foncea (Perfil LinkedIn). PhD in Economics and Management of Organizations from the University of Zaragoza. Member of the research group GESES-Universitat de Zaragoza (geses.unizar.es), of the scientific association CIRIEC-España and of the International Research Network in the Social Enterprise EMES. He is also coordinator of the ENUIES Network of University Research Centers in Social Economy. His research activity focuses on (1) the analysis of the foundations of Social Economy entities, the evaluation and Social Impact of organizations, and the study of new trends; (2) Creation and entrepreneurship in cooperative societies and their contribution to the economic development of their territory; and (3) the concept and characteristics of social enterprises and hybrid organizations. As a result of this activity, he has published 44 texts in the form of articles in scientific publications, monographs and book chapters in publishers of recognized prestige. In addition, he has been responsible researcher in 12 of the 15 research contracts in which he has participated.
Dr. Ismael Hernández Adell (Perfil LinkedIn). Doctor in Economic History and degree in Political Science and Administration from the UAB and master's in Management of Organizations in the Knowledge Economy from the UOC. Member of the Applied Research Group in the Financial, Economic and Social Environment (GRAEFES). Professor of Business Administration and Innovation Management in the Business Department of TecnoCampus-UPF and coordinator of the Chair of Social Economy. Currently, his research is focused on the social economy and its contribution to economic and social well-being. In this area, he also coordinates the postgraduate course in financing for Organizations of the Social and Solidarity Economy. It actively participates in research and knowledge transfer activities in the field of the social economy, especially in the field of cooperatives.
Dr. Francisco J. Medina-Albaladejo (Perfil LinkedIn). PhD in Economic History from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and full professor at the University of Valencia, where he is a member of the University Institute for Research in Social Economy, Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship (Iudescoop). His research addresses various topics within the field of social economy, especially on agricultural and consumer cooperatives and their relationship with the industrialization of the food sector, changes in diet and the improvement of living standards in the long term . The results of his research have been published in international journals such as Economic History Review, European Review of Economic History, Business History, Enterprise & Society or International Review of Social History.
Dr. Carmen Marcello (Perfil LinkedIn). She holds a doctorate in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Zaragoza and is a Professor in the Department of Business Management and Organization at the University of Zaragoza. Member of the Social Economy Laboratory (labes-unizar.es/) and director of the GESES-University of Zaragoza research group (geses.unizar.es). Since 2016 she has been director of the Chair of Social Economy and Cooperatives (catedraeconomiasocial.unizar.es) and since 2017 she has been president of OIBESCOOP and Vice-president of CIRIEC-España. She has participated in the creation of CEPES-Aragó and collaborates as an expert in the Social Entrepreneurship Program in Aragon of the Aragonese Development Institute.
