Structure of the Welcome Days for new students
 

1. Information session in the auditorium

This initial session lasts half an hour, and is structured as follows:

  • Institutional welcome to the Auditorium by the director of the department (Technology, Cultural Industries, Business or Health).
  • Presentation of the main services at your fingertips: Academic Management, PIE, University Entrepreneurship, Equality Unit, Healthy Campus, Careers, Internationalization, etc etc.
  • Presentation of the student association (AsEst).

2. Dynamic session in the Foyer

Once the session in the Auditorium is over, you go to the adjacent room, the Foyer, where an activity of about 30 minutes is held so that you can start getting to know each other. 

3. Guided tours

After the motivation session in the Foyer, the groups are organized to go out to visit the facilities. Visits last about 30 minutes. and end in the classroom where the information session for each grade will be held with the coordinator.

Will AI take your job? Activate your critical thinking

Date: 8 October 2025
Time: 12: 15 13h to: 45h

Have you wondered how artificial intelligence (AI) affects you in your studies, work or social networks? 
 

Come to this participatory seminar where:

  • We will discover what AI can (and cannot) do.
  • We will reflect on its use in university (spoiler: not everything is worth it).
  • We will debate whether it will really put us out of work or if it opens up new opportunities.
  • Let's talk about your digital identity and how algorithms can manipulate you.

Practical activities, debates and videos to open your eyes and awaken critical thinking. If you want to better understand the digital world and make more informed decisions, this seminar is for you!

Communication and collaborative work - Starting university: creating a network and facing challenges

Do you want to improve your communication and meet students from other degrees? Are you worried about public speaking or working in a team? 


This seminar is for you! We will practice networking techniques, discuss common challenges and seek creative solutions together, in a participatory and close environment. Take advantage of this opportunity to: learn about the TecnoCampus Educational Framework, network with students from other degrees and develop key skills for university.

Global Citizenship – Climate Justice: Who Pays the Price?

Date: 22 October 2025
Time: 12: 15 13h to: 45h

 

Participate in a simulation of a climate summit with role-playing and critical reflection! 

We will discover who has the power, who bears the consequences of climate change and how we can act ethically and responsibly. We will delve into:

The global inequality of climate change

  • Socio-environmental conflicts
  • Collective and individual responsibility

A dynamic, participatory session with open debate to think and act as global citizens.
