Enrollment for new access to university degrees

The TecnoCampus university centre is integrated into the general university pre-registration system coordinated by the Office of Access to the University of the Generalitat. Pre-registration is formalized online at University Access Portal. 

 

Necessary steps to pre-register:
 

1. Register on the University Access Portal

The University Access Portal is the online tool that allows you to complete the access and admission procedures at Catalan universities.

2. Fill out all sections of your profile and attach the necessary documentation according to your student profile.

Before carrying out any procedure, you must complete all sections of your Profile and attach the necessary documentation. 

To have the profile filled out correctly, when finished, all the boxes must be green or yellow:  

  • Personal data
  • Academic data
  • Other data
  • Statistics

3. Do the university pre-registration

Indications:

  1. In your University Access Portal profile, click on the “Pre-registration” tabTo access the procedure, the sections of your profile must be in green or yellow. Check the data you have entered and make sure you have attached the supporting documentation. 
  2. To find out what documentation you must submit for pre-registration to be valid, click the link “Check the necessary documentation and how to submit it” which will appear at the top of the page. 
  3. Click on the box. “University pre-registration” and then you will access the procedure. You can choose up to 8 preferences sorted by order of interest. If you have decided to study at TecnoCampus you can find our degrees by name or by Pompeu Fabra University. 
  4. Once your preferences are filled in and sorted by order of interest, Don't forget to save your pre-registration. Check that all the information is correct and keep the receipt of your application.. 
  5. You can modify the order of your preferences or remove or add them until the last day of the pre-registration period.

Double degrees

Regarding double degrees It is accessed from the university pre-registration by specifically choosing this training itinerary. The student follows a single study plan that is completed over 5 years. Once the itinerary is completed, the student will obtain two degrees.

*In the university pre-registration documentation, double degrees are identified as simultaneous studies.

Concurrency programs

Unlike double degrees, which have their own pre-registration code, simultaneous degrees are special programs in which: 

  • You start a degree that has a curriculum established in 4 academic years, such as degrees in Electronic, Mechanical or Industrial Organization Engineering, Computer Engineering or the degree in Video Game Design and Production. 
  • From the second or third year (depending on the degree chosen), you can start studying a second degree simultaneously. 

At the end of the simultaneous itinerary, which will last a minimum of 5 years depending on the program, you will obtain the qualifications of the two degrees taken.

 

How should you pre-register for university if you want to study a concurrent program?

To access a TecnoCampus concurrent program, you must pre-register at the university with the code of the degree that begins the program. 

Once admitted, it is the student who must formally request simultaneous enrollment at the center, usually at the end of the first or second year, depending on the program. 

It should be noted that there is no specific pre-registration code for concurrent programs, as they cannot be selected directly on the university pre-registration portal.

Frequent doubts about university pre-registration

 

How do I make my wish list?

Places are allocated according to a strict grade order and according to the order of preference indicated by the student. You can put up to 8 options.

Can I change my preference list?

Yes, within the pre-registration period you can change your list of preferences as many times as you want.

What is the criterion applied to award places?

 The applications of the students are ordered by the note of admission. The places in each of the study centres are awarded starting with the student's pre-registration with the highest admission mark and going down in descending order of grade until all the places are exhausted.

If they don’t assign me the first option I asked for, do I lose chances for them to give me the second option for not putting it first?

No, the places are allocated in a strict order of note and according to the order of preference indicated by the applicant in the pre-registration.

 Example: One person has put in 1st preference the degree in Physiotherapy in TecnoCampus and has an admission mark of 7. Another asks for the same degree in the same centre in 3rd preference and has a 9. In this case the latter will be given preference, even though they have put Physiotherapy from TecnoCampus as 3rd choice.

Are places reserved for September?

No. In the September call, only the places that have been left vacant in the June call are offered.

What should I do once I have been assigned a place?

Check the website of the corresponding centre to find out what day and time of registration you have been assigned and what documentation you must bring.
