Today, Wednesday 27 October, the inauguration of the academic year of the three TCM schools was held in the TecnoCampus Auditorium: the Polytechnic University School of Mataró (EUPMt), attached to the Polytechnic University de Catalunya (UPC), the Escola Universitària del Maresme (EUM) and the Escola Superior de Ciències de la Salut (ESCS), the latter attached to Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).

Dr. Ferraté praised the strategic lines of the Tecnocampus, linked to professionalism, entrepreneurship and innovation, and also called for more autonomy for universities, which he believes are immersed in an overly regulatory framework.

Finally, and before the farewell of the Mayor of Mataró, Joan Antoni Baron, the Vice-Rector for Economics, Information Resources and Institutional Relations of the UPF, Dr. Daniel Serra de la Figuera, and the rector Magfc. of the UPC, Dr. Antoni Giró.
