Professor of the School of Social Sciences and Business Jesús Martínez Marín (pictured, during a class), coordinator of logistics and maritime business studies at the TecnoCampus, has published and edited a book entitled Fundamentals of Logistics and Port Operations.

The book begins by analyzing the fundamental principles of the maritime business, and then goes through the basic concepts of the port world, the forms of management, including the most common forms of evolution, raised in port generations, as well as an approach to port concessions. It is a compendium that, in the first edition, seeks to make it possible for the reader to extrapolate it to any other port, and to make the comparative analyzes necessary for the progress of port economies.

It is the second book published by the professor in 2021, after TMaritime transport of Dangerous Goods. It is a very complete and very practical reference text for those who are beginning to know the logistics and port operations, a compilation work, the result of years of writing and narration, hopes only to serve as a training capsule for those who they want to immerse themselves later, in more complex formations. This book is part of the GRAEFES research group, in its section on logistics and maritime business.
