Ismael Pena-Lopez, director of theSchool of Public Administration of Catalonia (EAPC), and Josep Lluís Checa, director general of the TecnoCampus, signed last Friday, October 7, a new collaboration agreement for the co-organization of the postgraduate course in Public Management, which will reach its 2023th edition in 4.

The postgraduate degree, a title owned by Pompeu Fabra University, aims to contribute to public administrations that respond to the demands of citizens in today's complex and changing environment, and to promote leadership that contributes to making this possible.

In addition, the program is committed to a multidisciplinary approach and addresses issues such as the political and social environment, public management models and governance, public policies and the development of managerial skills from an ethical and based point of view in the responsible behavior of public authorities.

The diverse methodologies, from theoretical conceptualization and practical case analysis to different workshops to work on public leadership management from different perspectives, offer a space full of learning opportunities. Each of the contents of the program is treated holistically, offering a wide range of elements of analysis. The director of the EAPC, Ismael Peña-López, has emphasized the importance of pursuing a postgraduate degree in order to be able to implement the latest trends in public management in the workplace, as well as to achieve a professional update.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Eloi Serrano, co-director of the postgraduate course and director of the TecnoCampus Chair of Social Economy; Montserrat Vilalta, co-director of previous editions and Luz Fernández, head of the TecnoCampus postgraduate studies and continuous training center, HUB4T.
