The day October 1 is International Day of Older Persons. The Chair of Aging and Quality of Life at TecnoCampus wants to give visibility to this group, which has suffered so much in recent months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aging is a success that we enjoy as a society. It allows us to live longer, which must be lived with quality of life. The risks to which the elderly are exposed (loneliness, malnutrition, disability, dependency, etc. etc.) must alert us to the social and care needs of the elderly, and make us aware that we are part of the solution.

We propose one exhibition of photographs of nearby elderly people: relatives, grandparents, aunts, uncles, aunts, in their daily scenarios, whether at home, in the park, in the pharmacy, in the house, exercising, cooking, on the street ... Through photography, we will see aging, we will appreciate maturity, we will feel love, understanding, solidarity, sadness, joy, vulnerability, fragility, wisdom, etc. Photography it must be accompanied by a word that will be written below the image. A word that gives meaning to photography.
