The I-Talent Specialization Course for Inclusion, Innovation and Socio-Labor Insertion is funded by the ONCE Foundation and the European Social Fund, and is carried out with the support of the Maresme Private Foundation for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

It has been evaluated favorably in the V Call for aid for the development of university training programs for employment aimed at young people with intellectual disabilities and enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System. This program has the financial support of the European Social Fund, through the Operational Program for Youth Employment and is aimed at all Spanish universities and affiliated centers. The initiative seeks to promote and develop during the academic year 2021-2022, training programs for employment and inclusion in the university of young people with disabilities.

Contributing to the employability of young people with intellectual disabilities is the purpose of the course, which must provide them with skills both of a transversal nature - the social and emotional skills necessary to maintain satisfactory interactions - and of a specific nature - knowledge and skills required for the effective exercise of their employment.

The course will be coordinated by Ismael Hernández, professor at the School of Social and Business Sciences and coordinator of the Chair of Social Economics at the TecnoCampus.
