Fideltour and Marmirada for the use of their different computer tools for hotel management
LAccommodation Management subjects Tourist, which is taught in the framework of the double degree in Tourism and Leisure Management and Business Administration and Innovation Management, has reached a collaboration agreement with Ubikos companies, Yieldplanet. Fideltour and Marmirada for the use of their different hotel management IT tools, such as Webs for Hotels and Management Revenue, booking engine Lojasuite; PMS (Property Management System), RMS (Revenue Management System), Channel Manager, CRM (Custom Relationship Management), Booking Engine and Indicator Analysis (KPI) for the students they can manage, organize, plan and work in a virtual hotel with real, state-of-the-art tools.
Collaboration with these companies makes that undergraduate students they can have, at all times, the latest version of the tools that are being used in the tourist accommodation management sector.
The Teaching Plan of this subject aims for all students to come out with a clear knowledge about the management of a tourist accommodation, so the syllabus follows two paths: lthe first is the knowledge of the characteristics and functionality of the different processes of the departments of a hotel, to be able to design and plan them; and the second, the application of this functionality and design in the different computer tools of management.
The journey of knowledge of the operation of the processes will run parallel to that of knowledge with the most current computer management tools, provided by Ubikos, Yieldplanet, Fideltour and Marmirada.
At the end of the course the student will be able to request the realization of his practices in the Hotel Acapulco of Lloret de Mar which has the tools previously mentioned in full operation in his daily management.
