The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has opened the call for aid for plans for innovation and sustainability of the manufacturing industry with the aim that industrial companies consider innovation and sustainability as an integral part of their actions business. The deadline for companies to submit the application ends next Thursday, August 26.

The line of aid, aimed at companies that at the time of application have developed a productive industrial activity for a period of at least 3 years, consists of 94 million euros, distributed in 80 million as loans and , as a novelty, 14 million in grants. The program is in line with the new industrial strategy for Europe, which seeks to promote a more competitive, digitized, environmentally sustainable and climate-neutral industry. For this reason, aid is an opportunity for companies in the manufacturing industry to develop technologically advanced, value-added and more sustainable products and services in areas such as the circular economy, eco-innovation and energy efficiency.
