Professor Marcos Faúndez has presented the article "Analysis of sensors for movement analysis" at the WIRN'2022 international congress in Vietri sul Mare (Italy) from September 7 to 9, 2022.

This article has been made during the covid years and has dealt with the analysis of commercial sensors and development of new systems to detect movements, mainly of the hand. An important application is in the analysis of Parkinson's disease, as well as being able to operate devices without contact with the movement of the hand.

The work has been developed jointly with the final thesis students of Industrial Electronic Engineering Anna Faura-Pujol, Hector Montalvo-Ruiz, and the computer engineering student Alexia Losada-Fors, in addition to the Mechanical Engineering professor Pablo Genovese and the neurologist at the Mataró Hospital Pilar Sanz-Cartagena.
