The awards will be presented in January at a gala organized by the Catalan Film Academy.

The short film Ayúdame, produced by Betetafilms and directed by Cristian Beteta, has been selected as candidate for the XV Gaudí Awards. This short film was made as the final work of the Master's in Direction of the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC), and has had the participation of several students and alumni of the Degree in Audiovisual Media of the TecnoCampus, among which there is Cristian Beteta (screenwriter, director and producer) -in the picture with Patricia Pujadas, producer-, Àlex D. Sala (director of photography), Cris Borràs (head of production), Monica Castro (director of art), Gerard Cobos (sound technician), Julia Santisteban (art assistant) and Jordi Planas (Gaffer).

The short film, produced in 2022, stars Pedro Casablanc, Dafnis Balduz, Georgina Latre, César Mateo, Xavier Teixedó and Biel Rossell. Synopsis: "Pedro is a security guard. He is in a park waiting for his partner to come and replace him. Meanwhile, a person starts insulting and assaulting other passers-by for no apparent reason. Pedro, despite having a date and not wanting to get involved in the matter, is forced to intervene."
