The Talent scholarships they have a long history in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and for a few years they have also been delivered to the TecnoCampus as a recognition of the best academic records among all students new to undergraduate studies. This year, we wanted to take advantage of the awarding ceremony of these scholarships to hand out others, the University-Company. In the latter case, lfinancial endowment comes from the Aquahotel company, and are awarded to the two best records of the first year of the double degree in Tourism and Leisure Management and Business Administration and Innovation Management.

Scholarship students and their families filled the Graduation Hall in an event in which the mayor of Mataró and president of TecnoCampus took part, David Bote; the general director of the TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa; the deputy vice-chancellor to the chancellor of Pompeu Fabra University, David Sancho; and the president of the board of directors of Aquahotel, Joaquim Pons. All of them have emphasized that the scholarships reward the effort made in the pre-university stage and in the first year of the University, and demonstrate the will of recho excellence by companies and institutions. The scholarships consist of a bonus on the tuition fee.
