The aim of the program is to promote and structure the transfer of companies as a way of growth of economic activity, and thus avoid the closure of economically viable businesses and the destruction of employment in the municipalities of the region.

The TecnoCampus and the Mataró City Council were awarded at the Biz Barcelona Entrepreneurship Show by the Barcelona Provincial Council as one of the most active local Reempresa centers in the Barcelona region. This is an award that has been repeated for five years, when the Reempresa Awards initiative began. Reempresa is an initiative of the employer Cecot with the support of the Diputació de Barcelona. The Councilor for Employment and Business and the second deputy mayor of Mataró City Council, Sergi Morales, was in charge of receiving the recognition.

Since its launch in 2012, the Reempresa center at the TecnoCampus has reached 105 cases of “successful re-companies” (assignments or business transfers). To date, this point of attention has advised 318 businesses whose owners wanted to transfer it to an entrepreneur and 508 negotiation processes have been generated.

The aim of the program is to promote and structure the transfer of companies as a way of growth of economic activity, and thus avoid the closure of economically viable businesses and the destruction of employment in the municipalities of the region.

The program offers people who want to sell their business, free of charge, individual advice for the preparation of the Assignment Plan, as well as advice throughout the transfer process of the company: from the first meeting of presentation of the parties until the signing of the contract of sale, going through the phases of negotiation and mediation to reach an agreement.

People who have the project of “re-starting” a company or business that is already in operation, are offered a portfolio of businesses in transmission and are helped to make the viability plan or Re-enterprise of a business that interests them.
