Students of the Degree in Audiovisual Media, selected in the SGAE New Authorship Awards of the Sitges Festival

The short film To take x ass panties, of the students of the Degree in Audiovisual Media Paul Pastor i Good Sanchez has been selected to participate in this year's edition of the SGAE Nova Autoria Awards within the 54th edition of the International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia – Sitges 2021.

The creators, at the head of the direction and the script, have produced the audiovisual work as a result of their Final Project of the Degree in Audiovisual Media, which is taught at the Polytechnic School of TecnoCampus, tutored by professors Gina Plana and Juan Rafael Ventura during the 2020-21 academic year. The short film tells the story of a bisexual 23-year-old girl who has addictive dates, many of them surreal. The fiction, aimed at young audiences, uses the technique of breaking the fourth wall to appeal to the audience and aims to make the LGTBI + community visible.

The film will be shown Saturday 9 October at the Cinema Prado in Sitges, within the projection of selected audiovisual works, and later the verdict of the prizes will be made public. The SGAE Nova Autoria Awards (New Visions Section) are a window to promote emerging talent and disseminate works by film training centers and audiovisual productions in Catalonia.

The authors want the short film to continue as a web series. About twenty people have participated in the team, mostly students and alumni of the Tecnocampus.
