This subject is part of the COMPANY subject of the degree curriculum. It is taught after the first year entrepreneurship and Economics subjects of the previous year, second year. That is why the focus can now be on the company in operation looking for knowledge in the operational part of it from its different functional areas. An entire block is dedicated to delving into the financial economic part so that the future graduate has the sufficient basis for the development of company management projects.

The methodology of the subject combines classes in the classroom, with activities and group work inside and outside the classroom. It is a methodology entirely based on "the case" (business case) so that the student discovers the concepts for himself in a Learning By Doing.
There are three classroom formats in the classroom:
Classroom work is based on classes where the teacher explains the concepts of theory with real examples, current press releases and case studies that are solved in conjunction with student participation. Given the social nature of this subject, and therefore that in many cases there is no single solution to the problems posed, it becomes very interesting, from a minimum of theoretical concepts, the intervention of students and promote debate in some themes. In the classroom they will also work in groups, analyzing articles or news, solving exercises and proposing solutions.

At the methodological level, practical use is made of tools widely used in the management of the company and in business schools. The study of practical cases is used to interpret theoretical concepts that may seem abstract (Learning by doing). We work in groups to discuss cases and examples in the different functional areas of the company, so that we acquire the language of the company and the practice of working in business administration.
