The language of instruction will be Catalan. 

Subject that prepares and advances the realization of the work of end of degree, building, in class and of progressive way, the different competitions, guidelines and points that build the TFG, and confecing, at the end of the term, a preliminary project that will establish the general lines and preliminaries of the final degree project. From the introduction and justification of the idea or subject, objectives, the previous study and the analysis of referents, the study and application of the theoretical frame, organization and management of the methodological tools, happening through the global conception, until the economic and temporary viability of the project, and the legality in which it will be framed.

At the end of the course, the student must be able to achieve the following learning outcomes (AR):

LO1: Use the basic terminology of audiovisual production

LO2: Understand the legal implications of audiovisual production

LO3: Apply the techniques, methods and technological tools that allow the design, planning and organization of human resources and technical and budgetary means to produce audiovisual works.

LO4: Assess the interest and viability of an audiovisual and multimedia project by evaluating different resolution possibilities.

LO5: Understand and apply techniques for planning and monitoring audiovisual and multimedia projects using computer support tools.

LO6: Defend and justify the work done correctly, both in writing and orally.

LO7: Know and apply quality techniques for an audiovisual and / or multimedia project.

LO8: Understand and apply current audiovisual legislation in specific cases

The subject establishes expository class sessions based on the teacher’s explanation (3 hours per week) where the theoretical bases are established that the student will then have to develop in the practice sessions (2 fortnightly hours). In theory sessions will be held presentations of topics by the students which have been previously seen in theory. These presentations correspond to the carrying out individual work. Eventually, they will occur conferences of alumni who will explain the development of their project proposal, from ideation to final presentation.

Tools and resources for the correct oral presentation of the TFG

Activity 1 - Class presentations and presentations (corresponds to the following learning outcomes: LO1, RA3, RA4, RA5, RA6):

The student, in different practical sessions, will have to present and defend in front of the professor the evolution of his personal project in the following categories, and in a temporary frame determined by the educational:

-Introduction and objectives of the project

-Previous study: analysis of references and background

-Theoretical framework and methodology

-Global conception / development of the subject

Activity 2 - Speed ​​Dating (corresponds to the following learning outcomes: LO1, LO4, LO6):

This activity involves the assistance and active participation of the student in a Speed ​​Dating of projects. Students will have a limited time to explain their personal project in front of the other students and to receive criticism and input from their peers.

Activity 3 - Delivery of specific activities in class

The teaching staff will carry out assignments and activities within the class or as a pending task, in order to improve specific aspects of citation and academic writing.

Activity 4 - Preparation and delivery of the Final Project (TF) (corresponds to the following learning outcomes: RA1, RA2, RA3, RA4, RA5, RA6, RA7, RA8):

The student will have to present, in time and form, a Final Work of the asignatura that contemplates all the theoretical contents and his practical resolution (from the results improved and extended of the Activity 1) in a unique document.

General considerations:

-For each activity, the teacher will report on the particular rules and conditions.

-Individual activities presuppose the student's commitment to carry them out individually.

-Any activity not delivered or presented will be considered scored with 0 points.

Activities 1 and 3 - Exhibitions and presentations in class (assessment method "Participation in the activities proposed in the classroom")

-Introduction and objectives of the project: 10%

-Previous study: analysis of references and background: 10%

-Theoretical framework and methodology: 10%

-Global conception / development of the subject: 10%

Other activities in class - 10%

Activity 4 - Preparation and delivery of the Final Project (TF) ("Exam" evaluation method)

Writing and delivery of the complete project on the chosen topic: 50% of the final grade.

Important:

-It is essential to obtain a 5 out of 10 as a minimum grade in Activity 4 (the preliminary project of the TFG). Any work that does not reach 5 will not be averaged with the rest of the grades, will be considered not suitable and will mean the immediate suspension of the subject. This minimum mark regulation is also applicable to the retake call for the subject.

-Spelling and writing will be taken into account in the correction of the project. Poor wording and / or misspellings will result in significant penalties in the assessment.

- A 0 in any of the sections of the rubric (that is, a section not done) implies an automatic suspension of the preliminary project and therefore of the subject.

-If plagiarism is detected in any of the exercises or in Activity 4, the subject will be automatically suspended and the Final Work will be considered unfit.

Students repeating the subject

In the case of students who repeat the subject, two cases are considered:

- Students who repeat the subject having passed the TFG: they are exempt from doing the practicals and the final grade of the subject will correspond to the grade of the TFG.
- Students who repeat the subject i they do not have the TFG approved (they have not submitted it or they have suspended it): they are not exempt from doing the internship. They must repeat both the practices and the delivery of the preliminary project and the other possible deliveries.
