Description


The course puts the student in contact with the basic legal notions, as well as the legal terminology in the field of commercial and labor law.

Apply the commercial legislation in the practical cases that are in the economic reality. Observe law as a social instrument that limits labor relations and legal business.

Learning activities

Evaluation system


The business law subject is 8 ECS credits and its final assessment is carried out in the third quarter. It consists of two parts: Mercantile second quarter and Labor third quarter.

In the 2nd partial term commercial part of an eliminatory nature, students who pass with a minimum grade of 5 will eliminate this part in the third term. DO NOT there is recovery in the second trimester.

3rd term two types of exam Final exam of the two parts for those who did not eliminate the commercial part in the second term, students must pass with a minimum grade of 5, to add the part of continuous evaluation. Final exam labor part for those students who passed and eliminated the mercantile part in the 2nd term. The evaluation of the subject will be made up of the average between the grade obtained in the commercial and labor parts as long as each of them is equal to or greater than 5 about 10.

RECOVERY EXAMS: Examination of both parts for those who have completed all of the subject in the June exam. Labor part exam for those who have this part suspended in the June call

It will consist of continuous assessment, with the following percentages per quarter:

10%: Attendance and attitude of the student in class. Failure to attend 20% of the course without proper justification will result in losing the right to this 10% of the grade.

30%: Work and oral presentation of the different cases that can be studied throughout the course. It is mandatory to present all exercises if we want to have the right to apply this 30% and reach one 5 to the average grade of the exercises that the student has had to develop.

60%: Final exam. 

The teacher's assessment of the student's progress throughout the course, which will allow him to modify some factor or lean to one side in case of doubt. To be able to perform this weighting, it will be necessary to pass the final exam with a minimum 5; otherwise, you need to go directly to recovery. The rest of the percentages will not be recoverable and will be averaged as they were obtained where applicable.

A student who has not appeared in the first call DO NOT can be submitted to recovery.
