Description


Urgent and out-of-hospital emergencies nursing is an optional subject of the third year of the Tecnocampus nursing degree, it aims to provide future nurses with the basic knowledge so that they can carry out an adequate assessment, stabilization and subsequently transfer to a hospital center and the same time to provide comprehensive quality care appropriate to the needs and severity of the patient's pathology in urgent and emergency situations in the hospital and out-of-hospital field.

Important information:

 

The total or partial copy in any of the learning activities will mean a "Not Presented" in the subject, without option to present in the proof of recovery and without prejudice of the opening of a file for this reason.

 

La unjustified absence in the individual work session (Trivial Medication) and seminars (clinical cases) will lead to a 0 of that session.

 

It will not be necessary to obtain a grade of 5 out of 10 to weight the final grade.

 

Reasons for justified offenses

1. Death of the spouse, child, father or mother of one or the other spouse, grandchildren, grandparents or siblings.

2. Illness or serious accident or hospitalization of the spouse, child, father or mother of one or the other spouse, grandchildren, grandparents or siblings. A serious illness is also considered to involve surgical intervention with general or epidural anesthesia.

3. Permission to comply with an inexcusable duty of a public nature.

4. Illness of the student, presenting proof.

5. Other circumstances presented by the student to the ESCST Board of Directors, who will determine if the reason justifies the student's absence.

Recovery:

 

In case of failing the subject, the student must take a theoretical exam in the period established according to the academic calendar.

 

Note: According to UPF regulations, students who have the option of retrieving the subject are those who have obtained a “suspended” grade, which are the only ones that can be modified in the recovery process.
