Description


TRANSPORT LAW and its impact on the entire logistics chain.

Learning outcomes


With respect to the day-to-day professional work for which the students are preparing, to know the rights and duties inherent in transport, to be able to comply with them with the maximum guarantees of legal security.

 

Regarding infrequent conflicts, having sufficient general knowledge to focus on the conflict, minimize its effects, obtain evidence to prove what happened and identify those responsible.

 

Regarding frequent conflicts, have an immediate and effective response capacity.

Working methodology


Theoretical sessions: Master class, supported by presentations (pps) and anecdotes from real professional experiences. It is about transmitting in oral classes and using journalistic language (which avoids the need for effort to capture and remember the message) the subject knowledge. The pps presentations help reproduce the oral message in writing, and its consultation via Moodle platform or similar

Guided learning: Study of cases, from a of sentences that transmit not only the Law, but its practical application.

Autonomous learning: Reading of legal texts and jurisprudence, Non-face-to-face tutoring. Preparation and development of a practical case.

Evaluation system


Continuous assessment and mandatory final exam:

Attendance at theory classes: minimum 80% of the sessions (1 point) or minimum 90% of the sessions (2 points).

Applied and active participation in the development and resolution of the practical case (Up to 3 points)

Compulsory final exam. (To consider it passed and to be able to increase the overall grade with the continuous evaluation systems, it will require passing with a minimum grade of 5)

In case of failure in the final exam, you will have to take a new recovery exam, which - to pass it - will again require a minimum grade of 5, and without losing the points obtained by the systems continuous assessment)
