Description


The general objective of the course is to introduce the key concepts related to information systems (IS), information technologies (IT) and their use in organizations where they play a strategic role and where they have become a component. very important business infrastructure. The course helps to discover how current IS and IT condition the achievement of organizational goals and the achievement of sustainable competitive advantages.

Likewise, it is purpose of the subject to show the current technological market of business computer applications and the advantages for the organizations of each one of these applications, like ERP, CRM, SCM, DSS among others.

This subject has methodological and digital resources to make possible its continuity in non-contact mode in the case of being necessary for reasons related to the Covid-19. In this way, the achievement of the same knowledge and skills that are specified in this teaching plan will be ensured.

The TecnoCampus will make available to teachers and students the digital tools needed to carry out the course, as well as guides and recommendations that facilitate adaptation to the non-contact mode.
