The external internships within the degree in Nursing of the ESCS Tecnocampus are carried out in the following subjects:
These subjects guarantee the credits and clinical training hours as set out in Directive 2013 / 55EU of 20 November 2013.
External internships include all teaching-learning activities aimed at acquiring skills in the different environments where Nursing develops its practice. For the follow-up and evaluation of the students in the different periods of the Practicum there are three relevant figures: the academic tutor, the clinical tutor and the follow-up tutor. The three tutors accompany and ensure the achievement of the competencies (both generic and specific) of each of the Internships through continuous and formative assessment.
The Clinical Practice II subject covers a period where one of its main objectives is to take care of children and adults, whether healthy or with acute or chronic health conditions. The centers where the clinical stays are carried out include Acute Hospital Units of different levels of complexity, Primary Care Centers and Socio-sanitary Centers in order to promote the learning of basic care for people.

A system of quantitative (from 0 to 10) and qualitative (suspended, approved, notable, excellent, honorary registration) is used according to RD 1125/2003.
The total or partial copy in any of the learning activities means a "Not Presented" in the subject, without option to present in the proof of recovery and without prejudice of the opening of a file for this reason.
According to UPF regulations, students who have the option of retrieving the subject are those who have obtained a “suspended” grade, which are the only ones that can be modified in the recovery process.
The evaluation system and recovery period are detailed in the Learning Plan available in the virtual classroom at the beginning of the subject.
Registration requirements: To be able to enroll in the Clinical Practicum II, the student must have passed at least one of the three subjects of the Introductory Practicum.
