Description


The Final Degree Project (TFG) is a compulsory subject, of 10 ECTS in total, which consists of the elaboration, presentation and defense of a work in order to assess the knowledge acquired throughout the degree and introduce students to research as a method for the search for knowledge applied to the development and improvement of quality in professional practice. This must be presented and defended in public and will always be developed under the supervision of a Director.

This subject is regulated by this Teaching Guide, by the subject's Learning Plan and the General Regulations for Final Degree Thesis. The purpose is to regulate the TFG that students complete in the Degree studies of the Higher School of Health Sciences, and which are available in moodle classrooms and on the TCM website

Contents


Effective oral and written communication. Definition of the phenomenon / problem of study and state of the issue. Planning and design of the final degree project. Stages of the implementation process. Organization and processing of data or results obtained. Establishing conclusions and future lines. Final writing of the report. Presentation and defense of the final degree project.

A system of quantitative (from 0 to 10) and qualitative (suspended, approved, notable, excellent, honorary registration) is used according to RD 1125/2003.

The total or partial copy in any of the learning activities means a "Not Presented" in the subject, without option to present in the proof of recovery and without prejudice of the opening of a file for this reason.

According to UPF regulations, students who have the option of retrieving the subject are those who have obtained a “suspended” grade, which are the only ones that can be modified in the recovery process.

The evaluation system and recovery period are detailed in the Learning Plan available in the virtual classroom at the beginning of the subject.
