Specific skills
  • Know the systems and processes of manufacturing, metrology and quality control

Description

The course provides students with a generic knowledge of the different forming processes that allow to transform the raw materials into finished parts in accordance with the specifications of the plans generated by the designers of machines and mechanisms.

Students will be trained to take into account the characteristics of these processes when designing parts and will learn to design and document the manufacturing processes as well as to calculate the most relevant parameters of each process and to determine the times and costs of manufacturing.
