Why do we need it? Today it is increasingly recognized that individual development, including factors such as self-knowledge, emotional intelligence, and resilience are critical to success in both life and work.

The resources and tools to deal with today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world must come from within and from our own ability to collaborate with others.

Working methodology


Theoretical sessions

Master classes: expository sessions in class by part of the docent to which will be able to assist all the Alumnus mantriculados in the asignatura.

Conferences: sessions in which guest speakers will participate to share experiences from the professional world.

presentations: multimedia formats that will serve to the Alumnus of base of information and compilation of the contents treated for his back reading and learning.

 

Group dynamics

Debates and forums: Topics will be proposed by the teacher, which will be worked in groups to end with a presentation in defense by each working group and a subsequent discussion from which conclusions will be drawn.

Case study: dynamics that consists of the silver plating of case, so that as much individually as group it works to present / display a solution, that again will be debated in class.

Role-playing games: simulation dynamics in which each student will assume a specific role assigned by the teacher, having prior associated information to then be able to develop the specific dynamics.

 

Individual learning

Exercise resolutions: non-contact activity dedicated to the resolution of practical exercises based on the information provided by the teacher

Critical reading of articles: we will work during the sessions on articles written by researchers and / or professionals for their analysis and debate.

Face-to-face and non-face-to-face tutorials. Students will have telematic resources such as e-mail and the virtual campus platform to contact the teacher whenever they need it to resolve any doubts and help in the learning process.

Basic and General

Develop skills to search, process and analyze information from various sources to apply them in the issues to be resolved. Make decisions in the professional and personal field, applying the knowledge and techniques acquired throughout the academic activity.

Be autonomous in the aspect of personal planning, the selection of appropriate resources and the maturity to assume responsibilities in decision-making. Teamwork, actively participating in tasks and using the negotiation and planning tools learned

Communicate appropriately, both in writing and orally, ideas, projects, rules and decisions by properly and timely handling the diversity of media available

Evaluation system


It will consist of continuous evaluation:

10%: Participation in the activities proposed throughout the course, you must attend a minimum of 80% to calculate this evaluation criterion.

40%: Work and oral presentations in teams.

50%: final exam.

In order to be able to carry out this weighting system in continuous assessment, it will be an indispensable requirement to have passed the final exam with a minimum grade of 5, in the case of a contract, the student must take the resit exam.

In the recovery period you will only have the option to retake the final exam: Final exam: 50%

Students who have not taken the final exam in the ordinary call will not be able to present for recovery.
