This subject aims to relate physiotherapy and pedagogy, understanding the latter as an important discipline for the better development of the work of the physiotherapist. It will be shown, through different activities (framed within the gender perspective), the importance and the need to integrate the skills of both disciplines, in order to best achieve the specific objectives of physiotherapy.

Learning activities

The subject's activities follow the continuous assessment system, that is to say that throughout the term the teacher proposes various activities, which the students must solve and submit. The work of each of the activities allows the students to evaluate the follow-up of the subject and the elements of improvement, based on the comments and notes that the teacher will make on the activities.

The proposed activities can be individual or in work groups. The teacher gives the instructions so that the students can prepare and deliver them. All the activities that are proposed are designed so that the students have a practical perspective of the topics that develop throughout the ten weeks of the term.

MD1. Presentation method or master class: transmission of knowledge and activation of the student's cognitive processes through unidirectional learning     
MD2. Case study: acquisition of learning through the analysis of real or simulated cases            
MD3. Solving exercises and problems: exercise, essay and implementation of previous knowledge

Evaluation system

Qualification system (Royal Decree 1125/2003, of 5 September) that establishes the European system of credits and the system of qualifications to the university degrees of official character and validity in all the state territory:

0 - 4,9: Suspended

5,0 - 6,9: Approved

7,0 - 8,9: Notable

9,0 - 10: Excellent

The subject it will be assessed as long as class attendance is at least 80%. If this minimum is not reached, the qualification of the subject will be "Not presented" and you will not be entitled to recovery. The assignment grade is the average of all assignments completed during the course. In order to take the average, it is essential to pass the individual work (the average of all the individual works must be 5) and the Exam. Tasks or works that are not submitted within the established deadline will not be evaluated, and will therefore have a grade of "0".

Some activities carried out during the term will have components self-assessors i co-evaluators, to be part of a meaningful learning in this way.

Note: Repeating students will be required to attend the first day of class in order to plan for expected participation requirements. No notes from the previous course are saved.

Recovery Period

  • Individual works cannot be recovered.
  • In the event that the subject is suspended, it will have to be recovered with one exam.
  • To do so, you will have to pass with a 5 (out of 10) to be able to do the average with the rest of the evaluation activities that have already been approved.
