The basketball part can be taught in Spanish
To be able to transmit information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialized and non-specialized audiences
Carry out the teaching-learning processes related to physical activity and sport, paying attention to the individual, collective and contextual characteristics of people.
Schedule the process of training motor skills in their different levels and practice environments
Identify the risks that arise for health, from the practice of inappropriate physical activities and sports and propose alternatives
Describe the physiological and biomechanical factors that condition the practice of physical activity and sport
Recognize the effects of physical exercise on the structure and function of the human body
Understand the basics of play and sport
Apply knowledge to their work, in a professional way, with the elaboration and defense of arguments and problem solving in the area of Physical Activity and Sport
Develop leadership skills, interpersonal relationships and teamwork
The subject of team sports is divided into two parts: football and basketball. The aim of the course is for students to know the fundamental technical-tactical structure shared by the collaborative-opposition collective sports, as well as specific technical, tactical, strategic and regulatory aspects of both sports.
The contents of the subject are aimed at:
1) teach the student the general characteristics of the game in the different phases of learning the collective sports of football and basketball.
2) offer tools for the analysis and construction of tasks related to the specific technical-tactical aspects of football and basketball.
The classroom (physical or virtual) is a safe space, free of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, either towards students or towards teachers. We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer prejudice from others.
The social and environmental relevance of the gender perspective will be emphasized, through the subject's syllabus, as well as through information-seeking activities and critical debates.

Qualification system (Royal Decree 1125/2003, of 5 September) that establishes the European system of credits and the system of qualifications to the university degrees of official character and validity in all the state territory:
0 - 4,9: Suspended
5,0 - 6,9: Approved
7,0 - 8,9: Notable
9,0 - 10: Excellent
The final grade of the student is the result of continuous assessment through the different assessment activities. The pass of the subject is obtained with a grade equal to or higher than 5 points (out of 10) according to the following weighting table:

Requirements to pass the continuous assessment.
Compulsory minimum completion of 70% internships. (70% in the football part and 70% in the basketball part). A medical receipt must always be sent if you are unable to attend the practical class.
In the event that 70% attendance is not reached, the subject will remain as a Not Presented without option to present the recovery TFA.
If the practice cannot be carried out due to illness or injury, a medical certificate must be brought and a complementary activity guided by the teacher will be carried out so that it can be counted as class attendance.
Recovery.
Within the same course, there is the possibility of recovering the skills not achieved during the course.
According to UPF regulations, students who have the option of retrieving the subject are those who have obtained a “suspended” grade, which are the only ones that can be modified in the recovery process. In case of Not Presented, you will not be eligible for recovery.
