Presentation of the subject

The subject tries to define and contextualize conceptually the different levels of structuring of the sport practice. The structure and components of physical exercise and, more specifically, of sport will be analyzed.

A systematic analysis based on the taxonomies of existing motor actions will be presented, as elementary elements of sports tactics and their relationships with technique and the concept of strategy. Subsequently, students will be offered a model of analysis of physical exercise and, more specifically, of sport that will help them to understand the internal logic of any motor manifestation, under the conceptual "umbrella" of sport. .

The subject incorporates the gender perspective.

The classroom (physical or virtual) is a safe space, free of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, either towards students or towards teachers. We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer prejudice from others.

This subject has methodological and digital resources to make it possible to continue it in a non-face-to-face mode if necessary. In this way, the achievement of the same knowledge and skills specified in this teaching plan will be ensured.
