Description

This is not a subject per se, but rather the recognition of an academic-work task carried out in a company or institution with which it is established a single Educational Collaboration Agreement (CCE). Once the internship hours in the company are completed, the student is assessed by the internship tutor in the company and the internship tutor in the educational center, as described below. Finally, once the suitability of the work done within the framework of the CCE has been validated, proceed to recognition of one ECTS credit for every 30 hours of practice and their inclusion in the student's academic file. It is important to emphasize that the CCE must necessarily be curricular and must be associated with the registration of this subject/package of ECTS credits to be recognized. Otherwise (for example, if the internships are extracurricular) the ECTS credits will not be recognized.

On the other hand, students who prove a professional experience in a field related to their studies can have recognition as curricular practices. The maximum number of credits that can be recognized is 18 ECTS. A ratio of 160 hours of work is established to recognize a maximum of 1 ECTS. In order for the credits to be recognized, the student must justify a minimum of 1920 hours of work, which is equivalent to 12 ECTS, in the same company. The recognized working hours must have been worked during the last 4 years from the date on which the student makes the request.

Contents

The company practices must give the student the possibility to apply a wide range of conceptual, procedural and attitudinal contents to a workplace, as well as complement it with new contents, new uses of tools and methods and a new knowledge of personal relationships and their management in real workplaces.

Apart from their work in the company throughout the CCE, the student:

  • He will be interviewed and evaluated one or more times by the company tutor.
  • He will be interviewed and evaluated one or more times by the academic tutor.
  • You will have to fill in a final assessment survey of your internship.
  • You will have to write, following the regulations, the final report detailing the activity carried out throughout the CCE and its learning outcomes.

Evaluation system

The evaluation of the subject will take into account three concepts, each with its weight, as indicated below:

  • BUSINESS TUTOR'S REPORT (30%): Evaluation of the business tutor based on the evaluation of his interviews with the student and the monitoring of his work.
  • PRACTICE REPORT (40%): Evaluation of the internship report submitted by the student following the internship regulations (contents, format, etc.).
  • INTERVIEW WITH THE PRACTICE TUTOR (30%): Evaluation of the academic tutor based on the evaluation of his interviews with the student and the contrast with the company tutor of the monitoring of the work done.
