Description


Knowing how to communicate and make ourselves understood is crucial in the business environment, whether explaining the balance sheet, the financial plan of a new company, the marketing plan we have designed or the communication proposal for the next marketing campaign Christmas

This subject aims to provide practical tools for both written and oral communication of the different business project models, as well as introducing the student to the main models of negotiation and group debate.

Block 1: Written communication in the business field

  • Argumentation: discourse of characteristics and benefits
  • Conclusions: Tools for synthesis in written communication
  • Making written discourse tangible: use of visual resources and visualization of the written document.
  • Drafting of economic-financial documents for the company

Block 2: Oral communication:

  • Models of oral communication:
    • The harangue or motivational speech
    • impromptu speech
    • prepared speech
  • Oratory: oral speech techniques
  • Semiotics in oral discourse.

Block 3: Negotiation and group discussion

  • Diplomacy and business negotiation models

The final exam of the term represents 30% of the mark and may consist of either a theoretical part, a test type or a case analysis of companies.

It is necessary to have delivered and scored all the activities of the quarter in order to be able to appear in the exam.

A minimum grade of 5 out of 10 is required to pass the exam and the subject.

In the recovery, only the final exam can be taken, which will calculate 30% of the final grade, as the grades of the activities carried out during the term will be kept.

A student who has not applied for the first call CANNOT apply for recovery.
