What are you looking for?
RAE11 - You will identify the evaluation concepts, the foundations and the theoretical bases in the development of physiotherapeutic methods and procedures by applying them in the scientific and professional fields.
RAE13 - You will be able to identify, following the criteria of physiotherapeutic practice, the functional state of the user, considering the physical, psychological and social aspects of this.
RAE14 - You will be able to apply manual and instrumental assessment methods and procedures in Physiotherapy and Physical Rehabilitation, evaluating the result and its effectiveness in a teaching activity proposal.
RAE16 - It will prepare the most appropriate physiotherapeutic treatment in the different processes of alteration, prevention and promotion of health in the phases of growth and development, applying the guidelines of good clinical practice.
RAE17 - You will be able to identify the patient/user situation through a physiotherapy care diagnosis, planning the interventions, and evaluating their effectiveness in a cooperative work environment
RAE18 - You will apply the specific methods and techniques related to the locomotor system, neurological processes, the respiratory system, the cardiocirculatory system and static and dynamic changes in the practical seminars.
RAE21 - You will identify the fundamental concepts of health and the function performed by the physiotherapist in the healthcare system by identifying the dysfunctions related to physiotherapy in different areas
RAE3 - You will identify the psychological and social aspects in the physiotherapist-patient relationship, including the result in the state of health or illness of people, families and the community.
RAE5 - You will be able to identify the factors involved in teamwork and leadership situations, in the theoretical and/or practical activities in which you work in this modality.
RAE6 - You will analyze the anatomical structures and the physiological changes that occur in people as a result of the interventions of the physiotherapy professional, in their application in the specific subjects.
RAE8 - You will be able to explain the pathophysiology of diseases by identifying the manifestations that appear throughout the processes, the medical-surgical treatments, fundamentally in their physiotherapeutic aspects.
The subject of Cardiorespiratory Pathology is located within the specific training module in physiotherapy, subject 3: Physiotherapy in clinical specialties. It is a compulsory training subject (4 ECTS).
The subject includes the study of the most relevant pathologies of the cardio-respiratory system, so that the student knows how to identify the condition, knows the most significant clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects, to be able to carry out an optimal approach and physiotherapeutic treatment , with the aim of improving their health status and promoting prevention. It is important to know the good clinical practice guidelines for the different heart and lung diseases, as well as the effectiveness, usefulness and scientific validation of the intervention of physiotherapeutic processes in each of the diseases. To take this subject, it is recommended that students have acquired basic knowledge of human physiology and anatomy (Basic training module. Subject 1).
The distribution of the theoretical and/or practical content of the subject can be consulted in the schedule and sections of the corresponding virtual classroom before it starts.
This subject aims to introduce the gender perspective in its content and development. In addition, the objectives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations.
The classroom (physical or virtual) is a safe space, free of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, either towards students or towards teachers. We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer prejudice from others.
The assessment of the subject consists of a continuous assessment part (40%), a final exam (40%) and group work (20%). The minimum grade of the exam to be able to average with the rest of the evaluation systems, is a grade of 5 (out of 10).
This subject may consider the following indicators detailed in the following table in its evaluation proposal:
TABLE 17: EVALUATION SYSTEMS:
Custom code |
Evaluation system |
Description of the evaluation system |
SE1 |
Electronic portfolio (e-portfolio) |
They use qualification matrices presented as double entry tables where the aspects that will be evaluated and the different levels of achievement for each one are listed. It allows the student not only to be evaluated but also guided. |
SE2 |
Oral presentation |
Clear and structured presentation of ideas on a given topic with the aim of informing and/or convincing a specific audience. |
SE3 |
Examen |
Evaluation instrument based on questions that must be answered or activities that must be done to demonstrate the level of learning. |
SE4 |
Self appraisal |
Evaluation made by the same subject or collective object of the evaluation. It encompasses self-knowledge and the set of assessments that each individual makes of their task and, where applicable, of their person and allows the activity to be directed towards the desired goals (self-regulation function). |
SE5 |
Peer evaluation (2P2) or co-evaluation |
Form of collaborative evaluation in which the participants make an assessment on the learning process or product of all or some student or group of students. It promotes collaboration and cooperation among students. |
SE6 |
Elaboration of the TFG |
Evaluation of the preparation of the document corresponding to the TFG that the students carry out under the supervision of the assigned teaching staff in a tutorial manner. |
SE7 |
Defense of the TFG |
Public act of defense in front of the tribunal of the methodology and conclusions obtained in the work object of the investigation. |
SE8 |
Elaboration of the practical memory |
Evaluation of the preparation of the activity memory of the clinical practices carried out by the student. |
SE9 |
Evaluation of the follow-up of practices |
Evaluative process of the follow-up of practices carried out by the practice tutors. |

Evaluation system:
- SE1. Electronic portfolio 40%
- SE2. Oral presentation 20%
- SE3. Exam 40%
A system of quantitative (from 0 to 10) and qualitative (suspended, approved, notable, excellent, honorary registration) is used according to RD 1125/2003.
The subjects will have evaluation and recovery activities in accordance with the teaching guide and the subject's learning plan, published in their virtual classroom and which will establish the necessary requirements to be able to participate. In accordance with current UPF regulations, all students who, having participated in learning and assessment activities during the term, have obtained a failing grade for the corresponding subject in the quarterly assessment, may participate in the recovery process . Those who have not participated in the learning and assessment activities or who have waived the assessment will not be able to participate. If the grade is "not presented", you will not be able to opt for recovery and therefore the subject will have to be taken again in its entirety in the following academic year.
In the event of copying, plagiarism or illegitimate use of generative artificial intelligence in any assessment activity, you must consult the TecnoCampus University Center's Undergraduate and Master's Course Assessment Regulations.
