What are you looking for?
S25. Apply knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes in industrial products.
S29. Apply the capacity for critical analysis, self-knowledge, emotional intelligence and learning to learn to resolve situations that must be faced in the personal or professional sphere.
S36. Apply quality control to manufacturing systems and processes.
C19. Evaluate and implement the necessary actions to correct possible deviations from what has been planned and effectively execute the assigned role within the team.
The course provides students with a generic knowledge of the different forming processes that allow to transform the raw materials into finished parts in accordance with the specifications of the plans generated by the designers of machines and mechanisms.
Students will be trained to take into account the characteristics of these processes when designing parts and will learn to design and document the manufacturing processes as well as to calculate the most relevant parameters of each process and to determine the times and costs of manufacturing.
The classroom (physical or virtual) is a safe space, free of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, either towards students or towards teachers. We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer prejudice from others.
