Taking as a precedent the previous editions of the project. This new edition seeks, on the one hand, to give continuity to the project, improve the material available to keep up with new technologies, expand the scope of the actions and broaden the range of activities. It is for these reasons that the project proposes the following main objectives:

      1. Raise awareness and inspire students by showcasing female role models in the field of science and technologyUnder this objective, the following actions will be developed:

  • Women and Technology Exhibitions.
  • Exhibitions in educational centers (both primary and secondary), civic centers and other local entities that request it.
  • Newest exhibition at TecnoCampus during Women's Week in March, in order to raise awareness of the program among young university students.
  • Giving short TedTalk-style talks by women in the technology field.

    2. Improve students' perception of self-efficacy within technological and scientific fieldsUnder this objective, the following actions will be developed:

  • "Encouraging" workshops to bring technology and science closer.
  • Creation of the Fem Gamers Program; a program created to bring the still very masculine world of video games closer to women and encourage them to be visible within this industry.

    3.  Create a community of girls with technological vocations and give meaning to the humanistic and social connection with technology. Under this objective, the following actions will be developed:

  • Preparation of material to carry out the HackGirl: we will have expert mentors in the subject of the challenge and workshops will be held that will provide participants with the necessary tools to propose a practical and innovative solution.

  • Organization of a festive and competitive video game event only for girls, with the aim of creating a safe community where players can meet and compete in a fun way. We will also have a Tedtalk-style presentation by an expert in the field.
