Presentation of the subject


This subject offers a complete introduction to the audiovisual production process, providing a detailed overview of the different stages involved in the development and execution of an audiovisual project.

It analyses the functions and responsibilities of the different profiles of producers who operate in the various areas of the audiovisual sector.

The main objective is to provide the student with a clear understanding of the role of the film and television producer, while developing the basic skills and knowledge necessary to manage and carry out audiovisual projects effectively.

The training program includes the analysis of the human and technical resources involved in an audiovisual production, as well as strategies for its effective organization.

These contents will be addressed based on the study of the complete cycle of an audiovisual work, from initial conception to production, post-production and its distribution and marketing.

We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer prejudice from others.

Summary of the evaluation system:

To be able to average, the exam must be passed with a minimum grade of 5,0 out of 10,00.

 

CONTINUOUS EVALUATION:

  • If final exam grade ≥5: Final grade = 50% EX + 10% PR1 + 10% PR2 + 10% PR3 + 10% PR4 + 10% EL
  • If final exam grade <5: Final grade = Final exam grade

AFTER RECOVERY:

  • If retake exam score ≥5: Final score = = 50% EX REC + 10% PR1 + 10% PR2 + 10% PR3 + 10% PR4 + 10% EL
  • If retake exam grade <5: Final grade = Retake exam grade

 

Grades from individual or group activities cannot be recovered.


In accordance with the collaboration established between the subjects of Audiovisual Production, Graphic Design and Audiovisual Scripting, the material developed in the practical part of one of these subjects may serve as a basis or support in the activities and deliveries of the other two subjects.

Orthotypographic spelling and style errors can lead to a drop in the grade in both the practical exercises and the final exam. 


Any form of academic fraud will be sanctioned in accordance with the center's assessment regulations. If signs of fraud are detected, including the improper use of generative artificial intelligence tools, the subject's teaching staff may call the student for an individual interview with the aim of verifying their authorship.
