E19_Creation, administration and management of audiovisual companies in their industrial structure of production, distribution and exhibition
Subject that prepares and advances the completion of the final degree project, building, in class and progressively, the different skills, guidelines and points that make up the TFG, and creating, at the end of the term, a preliminary project that will establish the general and preliminary lines of the final degree project. From the introduction and justification of the idea or topic, objectives, the previous study and analysis of references, the study and application of the theoretical framework, organization and management of methodological tools, through the global conception, to the economic and temporal viability of the project, and the legality in which it will be framed.
The classroom (physical or virtual) is a safe space, free from sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, towards students or teachers. We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer prejudice from others.
Activities 1 and 3 - Exhibitions and presentations in class (assessment method "Participation in the activities proposed in the classroom")
-Introduction and objectives of the project: 10%
-Previous study: analysis of references and background: 10%
-Theoretical framework and methodology: 10%
-Global conception / development of the subject: 10%
Other activities in class - 10%
Activity 4 - Preparation and delivery of the Final Project (TF)
Writing and delivery of the complete project on the chosen topic: 50% of the final grade.
Important:
-It is essential to obtain a minimum grade of 5 out of 10 in Activity 4 (the preliminary draft of the TFG). Any work that does not reach a 5 will not be averaged with the rest of the grades, will be considered unfit and will result in immediate failure of the subject. This minimum grade regulation is also applicable to the call for resit of the subject.
-Spelling and writing will be taken into account when correcting the project. Poor writing and spelling errors will result in significant penalties in the evaluation.
-A 0 in any of the sections of the rubric (that is, a section not completed) implies an automatic failure of the preliminary project and therefore of the subject.
Any form of academic fraud will be sanctioned in accordance with the center's assessment regulations. If signs of fraud are detected, including the improper use of generative artificial intelligence tools, the subject's teaching staff may call the student for an individual interview with the aim of verifying their authorship.
Recovery of the subject:
If the subject is suspended (due to an average lower than 5 or due to a suspension in the preliminary project) it can be recovered by resubmitting the preliminary project, in the established period, to raise the grade.
Students repeating the subject
In the case of students who repeat the subject, two cases are considered:
- Students who repeat the subject having passed the final project: are exempt from doing the practicals and the final grade of the subject will correspond to the grade of the final project, which they must submit.
- Students who repeat the subject and do not have their final project approved (they have not submitted it or have failed it): must repeat both the practicals and the submission of the preliminary project and other possible submissions.
