The aim of the subject is to teach different types of production strategies depending on the type of factory and which allow the most efficient design of a production system.
At the end of the course, students will be able to carry out the following tasks in any manufacturing process:
The tools that will be mostly taught in this subject to be able to design processes in the optimal way, are the tools of the methodology LEAN i Toyota Production System.
Real productions will be analyzed with videos recorded in real factories and in completely real situations.
The data obtained can be treated with different programs including IA.
The classroom in which the subject is taught (physically or virtually) is a safe space, free of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, whether towards students or teachers. Final exam 50%.
Those who do not take the final exam, those who do not take the practical exercise and those who pass cannot take the make-up exam.
There will be three types of make-up exam:
1- Type 1. Recovery exam of the practical exercise
2- Type 2. Recovery exam for the final exam
3- Type 2. Recovery exam of the practical exercise and final exam
In all cases, the maximum grade that will be given in the recovery exams will be 5.00 (sufficient)
