The subject Management and Leadership Skills aims to provide students with a deep and applied understanding of the skills required for leadership in today's organizations. Based on a practical and participatory approach, the course integrates different learning methodologies -self-awareness dynamics, collaborative work, role-play and emotional intelligence tools- to promote an experiential and meaningful training experience. Throughout the sessions, students will explore essential concepts such as self-leadership, leadership styles, effective communication, conflict management, decision-making and team motivation, developing skills that are key to leading people with awareness, coherence and responsibility.
Leadership is approached from a contemporary perspective, focused on the person and their ability to positively influence the system. For this reason, the emotional intelligence constitutes a transversal axis of the course, facilitating each student to identify and enhance their strengths, recognize areas for improvement and develop an authentic and adaptable leadership style. The ultimate goal is for students to not only assimilate theoretical knowledge, but also acquire specific tools to lead diverse teams, manage complex situations and create healthy, productive work environments oriented towards talent development.
